Living and working in Sarasota means that clients often have homes overlooking the crystal blue ocean. This is definitely the case with one of our clients living on Siesta Key. We started working with her earlier this year on a master plan to renovate her entire three story residence (which was last updated when an overdose of orange and brown was cool).

The entire home will have a fresh new look and feel, but we especially enjoyed designing some options for the new kitchen. We assembled two palettes with a mixture of natural wood, painted wood, glass mosaic tile and glass pendants in organic-inspired shapes. We intentionally veered away from the typical “coastal” look and instead worked with a bright color palette with pops of color found in nature to bring in some contrast.
