We’ve said goodbye to our interior design studio in downtown Sarasota and hello to our new space in Lakewood Ranch! Our move includes an upgrade to a larger footprint where we’ll have a mini showroom and a lounge to display some of our favorite furniture lines and finishes so clients can experience and feel the actual products.
As with most moves, the new space has required a lot of work- especially to reflect the look we want for our interior design studio. We’ve torn out existing beige tile for a stunning Acacia wood-look porcelain tile, repainted, installed woven grasscloth wallcovering and a specialty wall finish. All the old lighting has been replaced with a combination of contemporary LED fixtures and traditional crystal chandeliers. The ultimate vision has been to create a workspace that feels comfortable and welcoming while looking organized and beautiful.
We spent a day shopping for the new kitchen and bathroom plumbing fixtures and our butcher block workstation surface.
Our new, even larger library of materials and finishes is starting to come together! It’s no easy task finding the perfect spot for every item while making it all look tidy.
The exposed concrete floor in the back studio space has this very interesting pattern from tractor tires when the building was being built years ago. We love it so much that we kept it as is. To soften it in places we will accent with area rugs. Check out our conference room on the right with the woven grasscloth wallcovering freshly installed.
Stay tuned! We’ll reveal the finished space as all the final details come together.
