Even in Florida, the chilly weather is here and there’s nothing quite like cozying up beside a warm fire. Ideally with a mug of hot chocolate. I find fireplaces special for their power to become the heart and soul of a room, especially when treated thoughtfully as a design feature. Whether classically detailed, sleek and minimal, or totally rustic, to me it is as much a joy to design a gorgeous fireplace as it is to cozy up to one.
