Interior Design Trends from High Point Market

As is common in the design and fashion industries, trends come and go. Certain trends are fun and desirable for a short period of time but tire quickly. Our goal at Space as Art is to seek out the trends that have timeless qualities with a fresh feeling to inspire our projects to be spaces that are beautiful and comfortable beyond the lifetime of typical trends.

Our trip to Miromar Design Center included an overview of the Spring High Point Market, the “Fashion Week” of the interior design industry. Market attracts over 75,000 people to over 2000 exhibits in High Point, North Carolina. As the largest residential furniture show in the world, it brings us the latest styles twice a year in Spring and Fall.

We’ve compiled our own list of some emerging trends that we’re personally excited about seeing more of and implementing into our projects.
