The Project Coordinator works throughout all phases of a commercial or residential project to help ensure a smooth process and a fantastic end result. S/he has excellent communication skills and interfaces regularly with designers, clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other project team members. S/he is professional and confident attending meetings with clients and collaborators. This is a great position for someone with a design background who enjoys a true diversity of tasks and stays well organized. Duties will vary from creative, to technical, to administrative, and the Project Coordinator thrives on this variety.
S/he must also be responsible and detail-oriented to help facilitate the product procurement process from obtaining and organizing quotes, to tracking manufacturing lead times, to arranging deliveries. (Will train in our project management software, Studio Webware)
Experience: 1-4 years in an interior design, architecture, or construction office. Showroom experience may be considered. The ideal candidate is currently junior to mid-level and enthusiastic to learn and grow.
Minimum requirements: Some education in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Intermediate level proficiency in AutoCAD. Proficient on Apple computers. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have own transportation and flexibility to visit showrooms and project sites when needed.
Preferred, but not required: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. Proficiency in SketchUp. Past experience with Studio Webware.
This is a new position and will involve a variety of administrative and organizational tasks to assist the design team, while also working with the Principal on planning and implementing new marketing initiatives. This is a non-interior-design, junior to mid-level position perfect for someone who is both creative and business minded, eager to learn, and who enjoys variety in their work.
Experience: Previous experience working with teams preferred
Minimum requirements: Associate’s Degree in business, marketing, or administrative discipline. Proficient on Apple computers. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have own transportation and flexibility to visit showrooms, events, and project sites when needed.
Preferred, but not required: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Graphic design skills, Adobe Creative Suite, would be a plus.
