Today we’re sharing the coastal dining room concept design of a home located on Siesta Key. We’ve previously looked at their kitchen design options in this post. With views of crystal blue water, this dining room was just begging to visually be part of the outdoor space. Our goal was to make the space feel calm, light, sophisticated and comfortable.
Mixing materials was the key to making this monochromatic light neutral color palette feel sophisticated and interesting. Soft sheers contrast with a stone mosaic wall finish while leather chairs and a wood table relate because they are both natural materials but don’t become “matchy-matchy”. A built-in fireplace becomes a surprise focal point and plays nicely with the chandelier above the table where the flames can reflect in the glass spheres.
We hope you enjoy a little peek into this lovely space.
